Is it safe for elders to begin the One & Done Keto diet?

Asked a year ago

I recently turned 65 and want to stay as active as possible for as long as possible. I still need to get stronger to begin lifting weights. A friend recommended trying One & Done for home workouts. I noticed the plan includes a Keto reset diet; I'm curious if the diet is safe for older people. Should I be worried?

No, there is no need to be worried. One & Done home workouts are definitely recommended and will be great for you. I would however, suggest you speak to your doctor or dietician, before going on to new eating plan. For older adults, you need more proteins than younger people, in order to maintain muscle mass and maintain strength. It is important to talk to your doctor first, and approach keto diets carefully, ensuring it's the right diet for you.
