I'm diabetic, and I like to snack on small amounts of food while working. My weight has risen in recent weeks, and I need to lose weight. My dietician advised me to stop eating empty calories, but I couldn't stop myself. I'm looking for a healthier snack option for my weight. Is fruit ideal?

Fruits are a good choice if you're looking to lose weight. While they will keep you satisfied, you are not in any danger of gaining weight from the natural sugars they contain. Research suggests that the more fruits you take, the higher your chances of losing weight.
