Is it ideal for replacing carbs with more fiber to lose weight as a type 2 diabetic?
Is it ideal for replacing carbs with more fiber to lose weight as a type 2 diabetic?
Asked 2 years ago
I have been living with 1 diabetes for a few months and have been working hard to control my blood sugar levels. I enjoy eating whole grain bread and pasta, but I've noticed that my weight has risen. I want to start meal prepping with weight loss in mind. Should I replace carbs with fiber for better results?

A meal plan is always a good idea when planning to lose weight. But replacing an entire nutrient class with another will not guarantee the desired results. Instead, you want to aim for the right combination of healthy, unprocessed foods, balancing all nutrient classes in your meal intake. That's what the Trim Down Club helps you to achieve.
