Is fruit a better alternative to empty-calorie snacks for staying energized?
Is fruit a better alternative to empty-calorie snacks for staying energized?
Asked 2 years ago
For my long shifts at work, I like to snack on high-energy foods. However, I am diabetic, and my weight has been steadily increasing in recent weeks. My dietician advised me to cut back on empty calories, but I couldn't do it. I'm looking for a healthier snack that will keep me energized during the day. Is fruit the best option?

Fruits are a good option if you need a healthy alternative to snack on. They contain natural sugars that will keep you energized all day long. However, these natural sugars do not lead to weight gain. They increase your weight loss potential. Also, the more fruits you take, the greater your weight loss potential.
