Should I take progress photos?
Should I take progress photos?
Asked 2 years ago
I am someone who is trying to improve my fitness so I started doing the one and done 7 minute workouts! I'm considering taking photos to track my progress, but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort. Would it be helpful to do it or do you think it will be demotivating?

Yes, you definitely should! Taking progress photos will help to track your results and show the visible changes in your physique, thanks to working out regularly. The changes don't always correspond to changes on the scale, and it's not necessarily easy to see progress in the mirror every day. There are great tips for taking photos, such as using the same lighting, making sure you can see your whole body, wear the same clothes, pose the same way and take them from multiple angles. Be sure to take photos every 2 weeks, you will appreciate seeing the great changes in this way!
