Does exercise intensity matter?

Asked a year ago

I want to start exercising and was wondering whether the intensity of the exercise matters. Some people have said that the higher the intensity the more calories I will burn. Is this true? Or does it not really matter?

Yes, exercise intensity matters in burning calories. Higher-intensity exercise generally burns more calories than lower-intensity exercise. That's why the one-and-done workouts are high-intensity interval training that pushes your body to work at a high intensity for a short period, encouraging maximum calorie burn.
