Can exercise help with bone density?

Asked a year ago

I’m 46 and I have been with the one and done program for a bit now. As I grow older, I know my bone strength is not the best, and was wondering if regular exercise can help with improving my bone density.

Yes, regular exercise can help improve bone density. Regular weight-bearing activities (like walking and running) and resistance exercises like weight lifting can stimulate bone cells to increase bone density. However, before doing anything too strenuous, consult with your healthcare provider.
