How long should I wait to exercise after eating a meal?

I’m a stay at home mom and I started doing the one and done program recently. I usually like doing the workouts after lunch time and I was wondering how long I should wait before exercising.

If you've had a small meal for lunch, I would recommend you wait 1 to 2 hours before your workout. With a snack, 30 to 60 minutes should suffice. If you're having a larger meal, then it would be ideal you wait at least 3 to 4 hours. Exercising too soon after a meal could lead to gastrointestinal issues that would affect your workout. Rather err on the side of caution and allow for sufficient time for digestion before you hit your One and Done workout.
