Has anyone noticed if exercising can help reduce your risk of strokes?

Asked a year ago

Does anyone know if exercising can help prevent strokes? My mom turns 56 this year and I worry about her health most of the time. I want to convince her that working out can actually help lower the risk of strokes. Any advice?

Absolutely. Exercising can help reduce the risk of stroke by lowering blood pressure, reducing inflammation, improving cholesterol levels, and increasing blood flow to the brain. However, given that stroke prevention depends on more than just exercise, it is best to consult a healthcare provider before you begin any exercise regimen.
