Can the One & Done Workouts help lower blood pressure?

Asked 2 years ago

I am a 47 year old woman. I have been taking medicine for my high blood pressure but I want to start doing the one and done workouts too. I heard that doing exercises can help with lowering blood pressure and I want to know if that’s the case.

Yes, it is. The one-and-done workouts are High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and studies have shown that regular exercise, including HIIT, is effective at reducing blood pressure in hypertensive people and those with prehypertension. It does this by improving cardiovascular health and increasing the efficiency of the heart and lungs.
