Does anyone here think exercise can actually reverse osteoporosis?
Does anyone here think exercise can actually reverse osteoporosis?

Hey everyone. I was wondering whether exercising can help reverse osteoporosis. My sister had told me it’s possible but I’m not too sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, osteoporosis is not reversible that doesn't mean exercising won't help. Along with a nutrient-dense diet, medication prescribed by your doctor and weight bearing exercise, you can work towards preventing further bone loss. Bone is also living tissue, just like muscles, so it will respond exercise and become stronger. Regular exercise will certainly help.
