Are muscle cramps normal during exercise?

I’m 47 and I started getting back into fitness using one and done. I love the workouts but sometimes I get muscle cramps during the exercises. Is this normal?

If your exercises are intense or prolonged, you may experience muscle cramps. With the one-and-done routine, it may be because of the intensity of the exercises. To manage your muscle cramps, it may help to stay hydrated before, during, and after the workout. You can take water or electrolyte-rich fluids as you exercise.
