Is it ok to do the exercises in the wrong order? Does it really matter?
Is it ok to do the exercises in the wrong order? Does it really matter?

I’m a 47 year old woman and I want to start exercising again. It’s been a while since I did any form of fitness so I’m still learning as I go. I was just wondering if it's fine to do my exercises in the wrong order. Does it matter which muscle group I start or finish with?

Sequences in workouts are there for a reason, and will be especially helpful to you as you're still learning. Doing the movements out of sequence could potentially do more harm than good in some cases, and could be jarring on your joints. The order of exercises are not random, and the routines work specifically in their order. The One and Done 7-minutes workout should be followed in the same sequence in order to allow your different muscle groups to relax.
