Does exercise help with cognitive function?

Asked 2 years ago

I’m 50 and I’m at that age where my memory is not the best! I was about to start the one and done exercises when my son mentioned that exercising can actually help with improving my cognitive function! Is this true?

Even in those older than 50, exercise has been shown to improve cognitive ability. Regular exercise, especially aerobic exercise, can help improve memory and attention and limit cognitive decline and dementia in older adults. No matter how little, exercise will help you retain optimal cognition for as long as possible.
