Is it better to stretch before or after a workout?

I started doing the one and done program a few days ago and I'm loving it! I did have one question about stretching though. Is it better to stretch before or after a workout? My aunt says it's better before while my dad says it's more important after.

Ideally, you should include stretches before and after your exercise routine. Stretching before your workout preps your muscle for action and reduces the risk of tears. Stretching after the workout reduces muscle soreness by improving blood flow and aiding muscle recovery. Go for the two.
