Could exercising be something that can help with pcos symptoms?

Asked a year ago

Hey Trimmers! I wanted to ask a question about PCOS and exercise. I know that PCOS can cause a lot of symptoms like weight gain and insulin resistance. So I'm wondering if exercise can help with these symptoms. Has anyone here experienced any improvements in their PCOS symptoms from exercising regularly?

Regular exercise, especially a high-intensity interval training routine, can improve insulin sensitivity and reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes which is often associated with PCOS. Exercise can also reduce inflammation and improve metabolic health, which improves PCOS symptoms. However, beyond exercise, a comprehensive plan is necessary to treat PCOS adequately, so ensure you carry your doctor along.
