![]() | Thanks Ozzie-Sharon for the encouragement too. It helped. |
![]() | Thanks Ozzie-Sharon, I will remember to do that the next time. Never thought to take a snack with me. I appreciate your suggestions, they really help! |
![]() | Hi, Blueberry. Just be patient with yourself. If you are aware of the issue and what you could have done instead, eventually you will begin doing the right thing little by little – even if it means having half the ice cream serving you have had in the past, and remembering to bring fruit with you as a snack (or just picking some up at a convenience store) when you are on-the-go. |
![]() | I’ve been on the diet for a month now and doing pretty well, but when it comes to going out to eat I either over eat or like today I didn’t eat at all except for ice cream. I knew I shouldn’t have the ice cream especially with not having any lunch but I did have it anyways. I went with my girlfriends on a road trip and just didn’t stop for lunch. When I got home I did have my afternoon snack. It really discourages me that I don’t have the will power to watch what I eat when I’m off the menu or to make sure I eat something healthy. |
![]() | I made them and followed the recipe exactly .They were delicious!! I/4c of the powdered seems like a lot since the liquid drops are soooo sweet. But the powdered is not bitter and over sweet. I think if you try it you’ll be pleasantly surprised!! 😛 |
![]() | Thanks for your response Rubytwoshoes, I think my confusion/shock horror may have stemmed from the fact that many products calling themselves Stevia are blends that contain fillers and other stuff. The powder I have is 99% pure and is incredibly sweet, and as yet I have been unable to determine what percentage of this would be the equivalent to a teaspoon of the type with additives. |
![]() | Hi, Jim. Do you have a link to what you are referring? I have looked over our recipes, and none of the soups I found with white beans have potatoes or are blended. Our main white bean soup recipe is this: https://www.trimdownclub.com/recipe/white-bean-lemon-kale-soup/. Yes, our recipes are tested, and sometimes modifications are made as they are retested. |
![]() | Hi, Tessab44, I have made the cereal bars several times. I don’t use that much stevia, I used dried papaya sticks, but I think they are sweetened with something.Have used raisins soaked in water 1st. Just experiment, see what works for you. |
![]() | I have a question about the White Bean Soup recipe. The directions call for potato, but there’s no potato in the ingredients list. It also says to use a hand blender to make smooth, but there’s a bay leaf in the soup. Wouldn’t you take that out first? And the photo of the soup doesn’t look blended. |
![]() | Hi, Trudy. In the Apps area, Menu History is at the bottom left corner. Your previous menus are there. |
![]() | I have tried to complete the menu planner but once I saved it I couldn’t find it again. Where would I find it? thanks. |
![]() | Hi, 01Pat. Splenda is not recommended in this program because not only it is artificial, but it has been shown in studies to work against weight loss efforts. |
![]() | talking about stevia powder – i cannot get it. Any problems with splenda powder? |
![]() | Hi, |
![]() | Hi, vrlrjm96, and welcome! The snacks in this program were designed with energy in mind – plenty of protein with fruit. Nuts and seeds, as well as legume products can make great options |
