![]() | I am also new and live in Texas. I agree the menu can be overwhelming but I continue to try and begin each day. Have had little progress as far as lose of weight but I do like the menu and I try to keep a positive attitude. I have a stressful work environment so I lose track of time and forget to eat the snacks and then I am starving when I get home. Unfortunatley, when I get home I am eating anything that I can find. I am working on finding a solution. Also, having trouble remembering to drink water. I continue to try. Thank you for sharing. |
![]() | Usually when I bake something sweet I tweak it. The fat I use is olive oil, 1/2 of flour called for I sub. with whole wheat flour. For the sugar I use honey and only use 1/2 of the amt. called for in sugar. I find my cravings aren’t as bad and for the most part it satisfies me. |
![]() | Hi, DDP22, and welcome! Just easy into it – it doesn’t have to happen all at once, just fine your way at your pace. Try joining one of the Groups (link above) – the most popular one is “Successful Beginnings,” but there are many others that may help. If you need technical assistance, you can reach tech support through the “Contact Us” link below. |

![]() | Hi, Freda. That’s great! Building your own is very important to making it the lifestyle longterm. |

![]() | Hi, ralvarez723, and welcome. You have definitely come to the right place to ask questions! For more on recommended sweeteners (including alternatives to Stevia), you can read this article here: https://www.trimdownclub.com/the-best-way-to-sweeten-your-tea-2/. With regard to curry, herbs and spices in general are wonderful for your health (especially if fresh), so you really can’t go wrong – whatever tastes good. Assuming curry is being used in a southeast Asian dish, favorite alternatives include chili, basil, and garlic. |
![]() | I am new to this site and I am not quite sure where to ask questions so forgive me if this is not the right forum. My questions is as follows: I am not a curry nor stevia fan, are there any subsitutes I can use for either of these products? |
![]() | Hi, Dianna. In your profile, you can note that you want more variety near the bottom right corner. |
![]() | I am having a problem with my menus. They are getting a little boring. Each day is just a repeat of the day before. I filled out my preferences, but very few of them are coming up on my menus. I am creating my own by fitting in the food groups, but I need more variety. What can I do to make the menus more interesting. For instance I never see any cheese on these menus. I went out and purchased some creme cheese because it was on my first weeks menu and now it does not fit anywhere. |
![]() | Hi, dianna. To find out how many of the main food groups (plus fruits and vegetables) to eat each day, click on “Exchange mode” in the toolbar above your finished menu in the Menu Planner. This can give you a snaphot of what to shoot for, and it can become second nature without spending too much time and energy calculating. |
