![]() | Another success story! |
![]() | Hi Jen and welcome. I don’t remember which one, but I read in one of the threads that they do not have a way to generate a shopping list yet but are working on an app for that. Someone else suggested listing all of your items in a program like excel and then having it alphabetize them so you can add up the total amount needed of the items that are repeated throughout the week. Hope that helps |
![]() | Maybe I havent read enough but does this program generate a shopping list for you???? |
![]() | Welcome aboard! This is a great plan. It may seem a little overwhelming at first, but the best suggestion anyone can give is read, read, read. This site is full of great information in the articles, community threads and recent studies. Be sure to look through the FAQ’s also. Be encouraged, |
![]() | Just about to start. I love reading the success stories. They are so inspiring! Keep up the great work everyone, and wish me luck as I take this adventure with my 4 adopted girls and 1 hub!!!! |
![]() | Colbalt2727—-you might want to try buying just three or four days worth of food at a time and then add more as you need it….and by doing it this way, your food is always fresh, and saves you room in fridge and pantry….just a thought. |
![]() | I am overwhelmed by all the food you have to buy. I am by myself and I don’t know if I have enough room in my frig or pantry to place all these items in order to make these recipes. In put from someone would be helpful about now. |
![]() | June, try downloading Adobe softward again, it may just be out of date. |
![]() | I started my new way of eating Jan 1 and have lost 8 lb so far, I don’t feel hungry now, and my mood has improved 100%. Thank you, thank you for providing these great tools to get our health under control!!! I was trapped in the sugar merry go round, I ate healthy foods, just not enough of them, and felt hungry all the time despite filling up on empty calories. Now I can hardly eat everything on my menus and I am still loosing weight! |
![]() | Wow!!!! 5 Days on the plan and 5.6 lbs down !!! Can’t believe it – I have never started losing weight so soon on ANY diet ever before! And this is with no exercise until yesterday due to being very ill with my breathing. Also I am inactive most of the time due to disability, I have a false leg but can’t use it that much so am in and out of the wheelchair through the day, and have very limited time I can be up on the leg. So if this is with virtually no exercise all I can say is I am absolutely stunned – and thanks to the Trimdown Team! What’s more I am really enjoying the 6 meals a day plan – it is the first time I have eaten so regularly like this, I am hardly hungry at all! My brain can’t quite process yet that I’m eating what feels like a lot and losing so much weight! Over the last 24hrs I lost 1.8 lbs ! Good luck all. Big smiles. |
![]() | Hi everyone, it is good to hear the success stories. I have a problem in that I can’t read the PDF downloads, my machine tells me I have the facility but it doesn’t work. Is there any other way I can get the information I need? |
![]() | Hi BCM001 and Misselaineous (cute name!) And Bcm001 ~ one of the snacks that shows up alot on my menu is a cup of herbal tea and 1oz. of cheese. Sounded like a weird combo to me at first…but it’s really good 😉 |
![]() | Just signed up today – I am excited and it is great to have you guys to talk to. Right now, I feel a little hungry – what is a light healthy snack when it is bed time – don’t think will be good going to bed feeling hungry. Right? |
![]() | Just getting started and excited about becoming healthier and losing weight! |
![]() | Hyperthyroidism, menopause, and quitting smoking all happening at same time has added 32 lbs to my size 2 body. The thyroid is the main culprit. I’m on meds which are slowing my metabolism. They keep upping the dosage and I have been gaining 1 – 4 lbs/week for the last 10 weeks. I’ve been following a strict diet plan and exercising daily. Since I started this diet plan I’ve gone from 135 to 141 lbs. right now I’m at 136.5lbs. Since the thyroid gland regulates your metabolism, once it goes haywire, even dieting and exercising doesn’t guarantee control over your weight. I’m at my wits end. So depressing to live on 1350 calories per day, eat very healthy foods, and exercise at least an hour per day and then stand on the scales and see that I’ve gained weight. This program is right on, though, if you’re not fighting against your thyroid gland. I’ve done sooooo much research on healthy living since I’ve been diagnosed, and this one site offers pretty much everything that I’ve found in all my research. I’ll continue the plan hoping that my thyroid gland will go into remission. Thanks. |
