Hi Lynette,
You can see this information under ‘Exchange Mode’ from your menu.
Best 🙂

I am new to the club One week in. I’m not understanding the exchange program. How many proteins, fruits and vegtables etc are we to have in a days time?

Is it ok to chew sugar free gum, or do you recommend a certain brand?

Thanks for the advice. Ultimately, getting out of having to nibble would be for the best. Changing that old mindset and bad habits!:)

Hi, Melissa, and welcome!
First, you may find that you can get used to unflavored popcorn over time – just gradually mix more and more into your usual fare until you don’t need the old stuff. Other than popcorn, there are other types of puffed “grain” snacks, such as puffed quinoa, sorghum, and Kamut (khorasan wheat), that are seasoned with herbs instead of greasy coatings. There are also roasted dried legume type products, including chickpeas. Lighter popcorn-type choices include mini ricecakes.
Even lighter options include the hearts (insides) of celery and seasoned cucumber slices or home-baked seasoned vegetable (e.g., kale) chips. If you’re at home, you can also sip on tea or steeped water.
Keep in mind that you can always count those nibbles as your snack.
Having written the above, there is also the possibility of gradually cutting back on nibbles in front of movies. When you’re watching at home, you can even use the distraction to get in a work out (even just walking in place is great).

Hi, I am new to the club. Wondering what could be a replacement nibbley snack for the movie theatre? One of my favorite(bad) things is the buttered popcorn! Thanks!

I am new to the club. I have a question. What are some good nibbley snacks instead of popcorn at the movie theatre?

Hi, lisbeety. I’m glad you’ve found a way to be active.

Hi, Diane. That recipe looks great. If you’re interested, each muffin yields 2 carb + 1.5 fat exchanges, and would make a good snack between major meals.

I have arthritis in my hip and lower back, so losing weight should ease the pain. This condition means that there is no dancing in my program. I do walk with my dog, not very fast, but regularly.

Hi am still a bit lost at the moment about the meun so am trying to make up my own. But I can’t seem to get a lot of the ingredients in Scotland like Chickpea floor only in England. Also Artichoke haven’t seen this in Scotland either so or bread that’s got SWG don’t know. How to do things that are right for me.

Hi, Ellen. Water is a “free” beverage – meaning drink freely – and so does not need to be counted in your menu.

You say that the website emphasises water. But I don’t see that anywhere when building the menu for the week.
