I’m starting today and hope I do well also. I’m very depressed about my weight gain. I can’t get into my clothes.

Less than two weeks in and already lost nearly 3kg ! look better, feel better & as a side effect the wife has also lost 2kg eating the same as me, I actually eat more now than I did before.
This is a way of life…. not a diet !

My spouse, John, and I both started the Trim Club Plan of eating healthier on June l of this year. We have both lost 12 lbs. in the last two months. It is a lot slower weight loss than we experienced in other “diets”, but then the weight did not stay off once you went off the diet. This is not a diet. It is a way of life and we will eat this way for the rest of our lives. Our goal is to each lose 60 lbs over the next year. We can do this. I know from experience that my body thinks I am starving it, but if I hang in there long enough, it will get the message that this time I am serious!

I’m 67 and so glad I joined TrimDown Club. In 3 months of proper diet using the Menu Planner (modified for my needs) and constant exercise, I’ve lost 25 lbs. My lungs and heart are happier, not to mention my mindset. Once you adjust to different food tastes, it gets easier. Cheat? Heck yes, but in GREAT moderation. If you are thinking about getting healthier …. what’s stopping you? Really!

Down 14 pounds since Feb! The best news is my BMI moved out of the obese category and back to overweight.

I just started Saturday and lost 4 lbs already. I know it won’t drop that fast continually, but I feel great.

I hit my first goal today!!!!! That’s 20 lbs off since Jan 1, a real slow rate but good. There’s still a few rolls and pads I want to whittle down a bit, so I’ll stay on for another 5 lb. Then I’ll be the weight I was when I married……50 years ago this week! Not the same shape, though 🙂

Im happy as I have gone from 96kilos down to 90.8…hope it keeps going, it has been slow I guess that makes progress even more satisfying. 🙂

Blessingcatcher, I never get sick of it, because it allows me to read stories like yours. I wish you continued health 🙂

Thanks, Ossie! I had wondered about that. I will do some change up of my exercise and see if that helps. Yes, I am very pleased with my weight loss. Since I didn’t have but about 30 lbs to lose, I wanted it to come off slowly so I wouldn’t gain it back. Thanks again for all your help and encouragement, Ossie. I am sure you answer the same questions over and over!

Hi, blessingcatcher, and congratulations. Your pace of loss sounds excellent.
Regarding plateaus, if you are following your program fairly faithfully (meaning, no creeping up of portions or additives such as oils and sugars), it may relate to your muscles becoming “complacent”. The best way to jump-start your metabolism is to switch your exercise regime to work new muscles, or if you exercise very little, to add 5-10 minutes each day, or add a day.
If this has not worked for you or is not an option, please do repost, and we’ll think of other options.

So proud of you Optimus and Foxx! (and others who reported earlier!) And, wow! Dstehen, I am so amazed for all this work you go to to help your hubby! Bless you! You deserve the kudos right along with him!! I have noticed that my husband is making better snack choices now. He will grab a yogurt or a stick of cheese. (May also have something to do with the fact that I am not buying him his chips and junk food any more! haha)
I have been on the diet for almost 7 mos and have lost 17 lbs. I haven’t seen this number on the scales in a while! 🙂 I only have 10 or 15 more to go … can’t decide which! haha Actually, the last 2 I have lost several times over the past month or two! Not sure what makes our body decide it’s going to gain again, or plateau.
Any thoughts Ossie of what we can do to get our weight moving again when it stops loss or even gains? I follow the menu faithfully and when I do have to dine out, I make healthy choices.
