Hello all! I’m 14 days in and have lost 8 pounds which is a huge shock! I feel like I eat all day long…but I’m not complaining! 🙂 I love the meal planner..took me a bit to get comfortable with it and figure it out, but I think I’ve finally mastered it. 🙂 It’s so awesome to see how well everyone is doing! I have a long ways to go so keep the success stories coming! They are inspiring!!

Just got back from town. Had to go get some jeans. Have been putting it off … with 20+ lbs lost, my jeans are all pretty baggy. (But, I confess, I enjoyed the bagginess! They used to be so tight!!) Anyway, the salesgirl asked me what size. I told her I wasn’t sure but we could start with these two. So, I took them in and put on the larger one (one size down from the ones I had worn in). I put them on and didn’t like the way they looked. I asked her what she thought. She kind of frowned and said, ”Ma’am, they’re too big! See that bunching up on your thighs? Try the next size down!” I said, ”But I don’t want them to be too tight!” ”I understand,” she said. ”trust me. Try them on.” I did … and they fit!!! Woo hoo!!! down TWO sizes since I started TDC a year ago!!! Follow the plan! It WILL work for you!! And, you won’t be hungry!! 😛

I just noticed the progress meter is in metric. Has it always been metric – I could have sworn it was in lbs – or then again, maybe I was converting in my head. Please tell me I’m not seeing things.
I have actually met my second goal, it’s not a lot of weight but I can handle nibbling away at the weight loss – if my aims are goo great I get discouraged when it doesn’t happen fast but I’m getting there one lb at a time. Thank you for all your great stories and tips.

Morning Montgom. Some of the words i have read on this site have stuck with me “this is not a race, it’s a journey” and that is true. I have struggled with my weight for years, i was a fit healthy younger man and over the years the weight crept on and i didn’t really realise it.It has got me down so so much. i started this eating plan 8 days ago and so far have lost 8 pounds. It is a different way of eating but very rewarding.you are doing so well-keep at it my lovely

Wow! You folks are doing so well. I feel like I am lagging behind but I am determined to keep with it – even if it is one pound at a time. I figure as long as I’m not gaining, I’m winning. Congratulations to you all, you inspire me.
tks, g

I just started on the plan. I am diabetic and desperate to lose weight. I also have mobility issues. I am eating more on this plan but have to say that the last two days my blood sugar tests were perfect. That is victory……skeptical but hopeful.
