tbarbee 10 years ago

Hello all. I haven’t finished my first week yet, I’m on day 6. I could not file at work for more than a minute without my lower back feeling like someone hit it with a bat. I filed yesterday for 20 minutes with no pain. To borrow from another famous weight loss program, that is a NSV – non-scale-victory. Looking forward to many more, and to see how much I’ve lost tomorrow. Carry on fellow warriors!

Hi, Just joined a week ago and have managed to lose 3lbs, having trouble sourcing a lot of the ingredients but I am lucky as my husband was a chef for 20 years. I have always eaten healthy food but have never heard of some of the ingredients listed. I am quite a good cook and enjoy cooking and make my own bread wholemeal bread but can’t find the SWG flour recommended does anyone have any ideas where to get this? Also Canadian bacon, is there a UK equivalent? Hope somebody can help

Since August 2014 to January 10, 2015 I have lost 23.5 lbs. Besides the menu plan, and diet journal I am doing chair exercises twice a week and chair Tai Chi once a week. I am also taking Belly Trim XP capsule 2 at breakfast and 2 capsules at lunch (our main hot meal of the day). I am so happy as I am in a power wheelchair and cannot stand, nor walk.

Success for me is having started as part of this group. I am ready to take back my life and get fit and feel great. I’m at 180 pounds now, most I have ever weighed in my life. Ready, set, go! My goal: 140 pounds on my 5’5 frame. Lose all my belly fat, for good.

Awesome RoMco, I’m a believer too in regards to cholesterol benefits. Mine went from 244 to 183 after I changed my diet and added fish oil/plant sterols. So happy others have seen good results here.

I have just come home from the eye doctor. My eyes are not real bad but they are not 20 20 either. Last year my doctor gave me a 2.50 contact level. I have only been with the TDC since August. How about my new contacts are a 2.0. He asked me had i lost weight recently. I told him yes, 14 pounds. Then he asked me had i changed my eating habits and of course i said yes. He said vegetables right. I said yes. He said he sees this happen to people when they change their eating habits their eyes get better.

Since i am on this subject, I went to my general doctor last month and he was tickled pink. He was ready to prescribe cholesterol pills to me. He said all my numbers have gone down. So for anyone who thinks the TDC does not work. It has for me. It is a lot of work, you have to plan and really work with the meal planner. I was never use to planning for my meals. But planning really helps and I need the menu planner to help me not choose the wrong foods.

I just wanted to share my happiness and appreciation for TDC. Thank you for being here. I am so happy.

Thank you all so very much!

I started with Trim Fast in June of 2013 I have lost 20 lbs. Have
reduced my blood pressure medicine My Doctors are pleased with my results. I get tired of journaling so haven’t done regularly. My family is not interested. I like to eat out and do. Do better when I just eat home alone. Healthy food.

Hello, all. Am approaching my second anniversary and have lost 29 lbs and have kept it off! A challenge, with a low-functioning thyroid and metabolism problems, but the TDC has taught me how and what to eat for me! I am more active than I’ve ever been and am enjoying being healthy and feeling more comfortable with my own body. I continue policing what goes into my mouth, maintaining a good exercise routine, drinking lots of water and staying away from those things that are not healthy for me! No need to try anything else! TDC’s plan is foolproof! If you have difficulties (after you truly work with the plan), address them with Ossie. She is the best at being our personal dietician! She will help you get over those slumps and bumps! I also found that the group Successful Beginnings was great because it gave the support and relationships that I needed to keep on for the long haul!

Hi all, I have also reached my target weight, I started on this journey nearly two years ago. I was at a point in my life where I was 55 years old, gaining weight year on year and feeling the health effects.

I made a decision that I had to reverse this trend before it got too late.

I came across this site and it gave me a great incentive plus recipes to get me started. With the help of a better diet and a workout plan (p90X)
I soon saw the pounds come tumbling off, It wasn’t always straight sailing and injury and other personal problems made it a challenging path, however in about 1 year I had lost nearly two stone. I was stuck at a weight of between 10st 11pounds and 11st 4 pounds for many months. I just couldn’t shift the last half stone.
I then was introduced to a video that changed my life further and helped me quickly move the last half stone. The video was about the effect of meat and dairy on heart disease and diabetes.
At that time I was eating far more meat and eggs in order to reduce my carbs intake and thus I was rather concerned about the link between these and heart disease.
I Changed my diet to one of mainly vegetables (i’m not vegan) and started drinking Vegetable and Fruit juices (made by me with a juicer) and bang it made all the difference, my weight quickly went below 11st and within a month I was at my target of 10st 7lbs.
I still eat a mainly vegetarian diet and drink the juices but occasionally have meat fish and eggs again. I’m not completely vegan, however I feel so much better I have more energy, and generally feel much healthier and the problems I had with my digestion have all gone away. I don’t feel those bloated sensations any more and my hair and nails are much improved.

So my message is this. Thanks to this site they showed me the way, for which I am extremely greatful. I would just like to recommend to all, that if you get stuck and are having problems try changing your diet up a bit, and I’d certainly recommend the juice diet.

Good Luck to you all.

Phil.
