![]() | Seaborn, great with your walking. We are all getting older with our calcification build ups and sore feet. Oh well, we will be new people soon with this lovely healthy eating. The doctor has prescribed potassium and magnesium tablets. Have you had your thyroid checked lately. An under active thyroid can cause terrible cramps with exercise. Many ladies as we get older suffer from an under active thyroid so probably worth a check next time you are seeing your doctor. |
| Jackiee shouldn’t you be tucked up in your bed??? Must be about 11pm there…you are a night owl too aren’t you? haha…I think most of us are. |
![]() | Hi Jackie, Going to be a hot one here yet again. Around 41 degrees in Murray Bridge. Good salad weather. Bring on Autumn and we will all be weighing less! |

Not sure what you can do about eating more in the heat…I am like it too, but I have kept my menu to salads, rarely have a hot meal, and drinking lots of water.Hope it all goes well for you. |
![]() | Hi Rb2b, lol, I suppose I love reading so have changed some facebook chat for some diet chat to keep me motivated. Never thought of the time-line difference affecting the weight entry day, will have to check that out, but will need to weight a few more day as promised myself I wouldn’t weigh myself till the end of the week. Hope the heat has dropped a little for you down there. |

![]() | Thank you for your kind reply, Ossie. I need to eat low fat, low cholesterol diet, so if the recipe says eggs, can I use egg substitute , or us that considered processed? When I read ” raw ” what us a good substitute? |
![]() | Hi Jackie. I have found that if I update my weight early in the morning that it changes the previous day’s entry. I am assuming we are on American time and that it does not adjust for us Aussies. |

![]() | Hi r2b2, cramps are often due to a Magnesium deficiency. Try foods high in Magnesium, or get a Mg supplement from a drug store. It would be ideal if you could get your blood Mg level tested (serum-Magnesium test). Other electrolyte disturbances that may give cramps are potassium or sodium deficiencies. If you take a diuretic (water pill) or laxatives, or if you make yourself vomit, it is more common to have problems with electrolytes. Hope that helps. |
