| | Hi, samiam. You can get your printable grocery list by clicking on the corresponding icon in the toolbar above your finished menu (second from the far right). |
| | Hi, Wayne. No, it means that the bread is made at least primarily from brown rice flour. Most of the servings for foods are listed in the menu (as they vary per person and per meal); where there is a recipe or “Vegetable of Your Choice,” click on the pot icon next to it to see what a serving is. |
| | Ok, this is’t a menu question but I’m new here and would like to be able to print a grocery list, can someone tell me how if it’s even possible?? |
| | On the menu it says ” 1 slice of bread, brown rice”. Does that mean both or one or the other? How much brown rice? What is consider “a serving”? I imagine there is somewhere on the site that I can get those answers but find the site cumbersome to move from topic to topic.????? |
| | Thanks! I wasn’t sure if the 8 week plan was the one I paid the extra membership for. Also, what about substitutions? If menu calls for a banana, can I have a peach or nectarine instead? Rye bread (pretty sure I won’t be able to find 100% whole grain locally), could I sub for SWG? When calling for organic cow’s milk can I use unsweetened almond milk? One more thing, what about protein powder shake for a quick snack or breakfast? I don’t recall seeing that mentioned. Organic, no sugar, high protein blended with almond milk and fruit. Could that sub for eggs, milk and fruit? Thank you again for your help! |
| | Just joined today. Wondering about measurements. Any tips about converting ounces to teaspoons, cups, etc. I don’t have a scale so want to choose the right amounts. |
| | Hi, kpgoldstar, and welcome! You can access the 8-week program through the “Apps” link at the top left of each site page (I’m placing it here, too – https://www.trimdownclub.com/apps/). |
| | Is it possible to have spirits with TDC? There was a place to select for the menus but I haven’t seen it on any. |
| | I just joined today, and signed up for the premium membership. I thought there was an extra Quick Start 8 week program with this one? |
| | Hi, Bjbowland. Tomatoes are an excellent choice for a snack, and are considered a “Vegetable of Your Choice.” If you want it at another snackc, you can just swap it for a fruit. |
| | I don’t see tomatoes on the snack list. I love to pop a grape sized tomatoes when I feel hunger pains. I have seen recipes with tomatoes incorporated, but not as a vegetable choice. Is there a reason for this? |
| | Hi, Apensa. Yes, that’s great. |
| | There is no added Sugar in the Psyllium and also the Almond Milk. The only added sugar would be from the Honey Nut Cheerios. Sure, I can fry up an egg….I can even use EggBeaters. OK to use a small pat of butter or should I stick to Olive Oil? |
| | Hi, Apensa. If the calories are largely from sugar, it can have an effect, especially since the rest of what you listed are also largely from carbohydrates. Can you have a source of protein with it, like an egg? |
| | Ossie-Sharon, I just had a thought. Per my doctor’s wishes, I take a tablespoon of Psyllium in the morning in order to address some gastro intestinal issues. That dosage is 114 calories. Could that be having an effect to my usual morning meal of 1/2 cup of Honey Nut Cheerios with unsweetened almond milk? |
