Hi, achavez108. Xanthan gum helps with the binding and texture of products. You can find it at gourmet shops or in the baking section of some regular supermarkets. You can also order it online, including through major websites like Amazon.

on the recipe for keto bread it calls for xantham gum? what is that and where can I find that?

Hi, SandySandy. Regular peas are considered a carbohydrate here (they are starchy vegetables). Snow peas are mostly the pod, so they are a green vegetable – not “free,” but definitely green: one cup raw (or 1/2 cup cooked) is a vegetable exchange. For regular green peas, 3/4 cup is a carbohydrate exchange.

are green peas a vegetable? it only has snow peas on the list and i don’t know what that is. free or limited?

Hi, CatDRyan. You absolutely can switch meals. You also have the option of much simpler meals, if you wish. Just click on the edit tool that appears next to a recipe, and when you get the pop-up list of alternatives, scroll to the end and select meal “ideas.” Those include basic, quick options.

Hi, Helenmbrake. 100% whole wheat bread is an excellent choice.
Your menus look fine. Do they suit you? If not, note that you can make swaps through the adjacent edit tool – all has been calculated to make sure your menus still meet your nutritional needs.

Hi, ljlmendoza. If you mean an apple cider VINEGAR drink without added sugar, then it is a “free” beverage and no problem. If it is apple cider with sugar, then it needs to be counted as a fruit and swapped in for something else in your menu.

Hi, SandySandy. Try distracting yourself with entertainment. Remember that even just walking in place in front of the TV counts as exercise!

Hi just started trim down. I am doing the Keto plan. I have notice in the meal planning that there is a lot of cooking at lunch. I am in the field 4 days a week. Can I switch lunch and dinner on this plan?

Hi, just started the trim down. Would like it if someone could check my meals to make sure I am doing it right? Also is 100% whole wheat bread okay to eat?

Hi! I am a newbie. I would like to ask if can i drink apple cider drink and lemon water while following my menu plan?

thanks ossie you are right. about the restrictive diets and about the fact that i should be moving more. just hate it! and i have tried everything and don’t connect to anything, except my car. 🙂

Hi, SandySandy. If you have been on restrictive diets in the past, then it may take some time for your body to get used to normal amounts of food again. This is a lifestyle improvement program rather than a crash sort of “diet.”
Are you physically active? That is the healthiest way to give your metabolism a boost and help get over the slow period.

i will weigh myself tomorrow, the official weekly weigh-in. but i had to do it this morning too and i found that not only haven’t I lost weight, I actually gained some of the weight back that i lost last week. Woe is me, why is this happening???
i am keeping exactly to the menu, even partially reducing carbohydrates as you said. i am completely sated. i am drinking 9-10 cups of water every day.
i will continue, but arent you supposed to lose a lot of weight at the beginning? and not gain?
do the menus really change depending on the weight loss for that week?

Hi, SandySandy.
1. Sorry, the exchange information is available only through the link.
2. Yes, you can move the fruit.
3. Yes, you can use the milk throughout the day.
Whatever makes the menu comfortable for you is best – as long as you don’t load up most when you are least active, of course.
