| | Also does it matter if I don’t consume the full meal? I’m still overwhelm by the amount of food to consume. |
| | Hi I’ve just joined and amazed about the amount of food set to consume. Does the plan still work if the snacks are missed? As I work a full time job and not sure that I will find the time to consume these snacks. Or is these more simple, quick snacks available? |
| | Hello- yes I am a newbie. And I already have a question. I went through my menu for the 1st week, and made changes. There was an option to print a grocery list. Now when I go back, I can’t find that option. Help!! (please) |
| | Hi, Debbie, and welcome. So great to read about everything you’re doing 🙂 We wish you the best, and are happy to help in any way we can. |
| | Hello everyone. Newbie here, and I am excited to get started. I retired 2 years ago, and find myself 25lbs heavier…uggg. I get board easy so I eat. I have started walking, exercise classes and yoga. hopefully with this new way of eating it will also help..oh forgot to mention I stopped smoking and gained 10lbs..in 2 years I have gone from 124lbs to 163lbs. I feel terrible, I get tired easy, sluggish, and just ugly…not used to this weight..not liking it for sure..where and when did it get attached to me:) |
| | Hi, Geraldine. A great many people are in your post-holiday spot! The secret is to just not let it get you down, and just get back to what you were doing without procrastinating or kicking yourself. With regard to your menu, it only updates if you document a significant change in your weight or select new foods, and then click on “new menu.” |
| | Hi again. A question about the “health rating” of menus. Which colour heart is the best green? When I print my menu out (colour printer) (am trying to do as much of the light blue food options as poss) I get a Red heart with a rating of 86% is that good or bad? thanks 🙂 |
| | Hi after the Christmas spread of food have gained weight..urgh! I have updated my new weight and was wondering if my weekly menu updates itself or do I do that? My menu started with me being lighter. thanks! |
| | Hi, Sophie. If you aren’t used to a lot of fiber, it could be that it’s a bit much too fast here. I suggest backing off a little, and drinking lots of water. Try to get exercise, to get your stomach muscles moving. |
| | Hi, I’m on day four, enjoying the food but getting a rock hard stomach and pain, and indigestion in the evenings. I’m not used to eating so much.can anybody advise me. Also lost two lbs but then gained another! Not sure I’m doing this right!! |
| | Hi, jilmarc, and welcome! A serving is 1 cup raw or 1/2-1 cup cooked (we give you wiggle room to encourage more vegetable intake). |
| | Just started and loving it, but I want to understand how much “one serving of vegetables” equals in ounces? |
| | That’s great to read, Irene! We wish you continued success, and are happy to help in whatever way we can. |
| | Well at the end of the 8 weeks I finished off with a good one, 2 lbs off. Thats only a total of 4 lbs over the 8 weeks. But considering Im eating a lot more than I used to and feel satisfied rather than starved, Im happy with it. Its a pity I had a set back with my injured ribs but they are also on the mend now. Ive not lost as much as Id hoped to but do feel a lot better. My sleep is also better. And considering it is relatively easy to stick to, hopefully I will keep shaving off more lbs here and there. Especially as I can start to become a little more active again now that my ribs are healing. Good luck to everyone else – its worth it. |
