| | I have a question. I love this way of eating and as i am new I am having a great deal of trouble getting my snacks in. Are there any kind of smoothies I can make for my snacks. I think if I can drink at least the morning one I will do better at this. I don’t have any issues with ALL of the food I can eat. I just don’t get many breaks at work to stop and eat my snacks. Any ideas???? |

| | Hi, Anita. You can compare the exchanges at the end of each recipe (before the comments section) to the ones allotted to you for your menu. You can view the latter by clicking on “Exchange mode” in the toolbar above any of your menus. The match doesn’t have to be perfect – you can trade carbohydrate exchanges for protein. |

| | Hi, GemStar. It’s great that you’re in tune with your satiety signals! Don’t fight them 🙂 You can skip snacks if you wish, but just be sure that by the end of the day, you’ve had a total of 5 servings of fruits/vegetables and 3 servings of calcium-rich foods/beverages, and that you’re not so hungry that you want to binge right before bed (or in the middle of the night). |
