I’ve just joined and there is no way I can eat all that is being recommended.

I am pleased with myself tonight: I went over to my neighbours’ and they had wine, I had a cup of tea, they had chips and I had carrots & hummus! Maybe I’ll have some wine tomorrow evening.

Hi, Miranda. Of course! Wines are in the Menu Planner food lists, and you can select a glass (4-5 fluid ounces, or 115-140 ml, depending on sweetness) from the “Carbohydrates” category (“Beverages” subcategory). For a bit less fuss, you can just have it instead of 1/2 of your last snack.

Hi, 1dayatthetime, and welcome! I suggest you check out our “Quick Start Guide” and main “Program Guide” in “My Downloads” (link at the rop right of each site page). These can provide some direction regarding the overall plan and how to generate menus. If you want to get started with menus right away, go here – https://www.trimdownclub.com/menu-planner – and see the instructions. If you hit a tech snag, you can reach the support team through the “Contact Us” link below. For any nutrition-related questions, I’m happy to help you here.

Hi, Kirsty. You can click on any food that doesn’t work with your meal, and you will be brought to a list of alternatives, from which you can select a replacement. To see how many exchanges of each food group you are allotted, click on “Exchange mode” in the toolbar above any of your menus.

Hi my husband and I have been on a high protein low carb diet but have just been eating protein for the first 3 weeks I saw this program & saw the things you can eat compared to what we can’t eat on the high protein low carb diet. The menu plans isn’t too bad but can you please explain what you can & can’t eat together so we can make up our own plans please. Before we couldn’t eat protein & carbs together but it looks like you can on your plan. Look forward to hearing from you soon. Donna

What is the food exchange breakdown per meal/snack, (carbs, pro, fats, fruits, veggie, and sweets?

Ossie-Sharon 8 years ago

Hi, Miranda. We recommend plain yogurt, and then flavor and sweeten with high-quality ingredients like fresh or frozen berries or sliced fruit, and Stevia or even maple syrup.

I would also like to add what are exchanged and if I forget the menu that is given how many of each food group am I meant to have I am so confused I would love a person to talk to

I am struggling with this plan it has made a menu for me but I wouldn’t normally eat a yoghurt with an egg. It also gives me 60g of prawns but with what I’m trying to write a shopping list and just don’t think will fit in with working wtc

Great – thanks. I have to have it tomorrow. If I do buy flavored ones is that acceptable & what about sugar content?
