![]() | Hi ~ |
![]() | Hi, j9moorequilter. This is actually a fairly low-carbohydrate program, with only about 45% of energy from carbohydrates (compared to about 60-70% in average modern western habits). |
![]() | Hi, I am having trouble eating a lot that is on my menu. I find that there is too much food at snack times. Especially the meat portion at each snack time. What can I do to reduce this or eliminate it from snack time. |
![]() | There sure seems to be a lot of carbohydrates in the menu plan. |
![]() | And, do I have to follow the menu exact and in order? Can I switch the morning snack to afternoon for instance and can I use Tuesdays dinner for Monday etc? |
![]() | Thank you for the response. I will cut back. Also, somehow my starting weight is way off. How do I fix this? |
![]() | Hi, melkuyk. That’s fine – focus on protein and produce, if you can. It’s great that you’re in tune with your satiety signals. Always be sure that your correct weight is in your profile. |
![]() | Hi.. I am having a hard time eating everything. I eat about 3/4 of everything soemtimes a half and I just can’t eat any more. Is that OK? |
![]() | Hi, Barbara. The intention is for you to eat everything in the menu. If you are feeling overstuffed, please do repost here, and I would be happy to help. |
![]() | Hi, Theresa. You can follow it as long as you wish AND you can swap in recipes whenever you want. When you use the personal version of the Menu Planner app (the right-most option here: https://www.trimdownclub.com/menu-planner) you will see many of the recipes available for selection in your menu. For recipes not yet listed there, just try to match up the “Exchanges per Serving” at the end of the recipe you want to use with the exchanges allotted to the meal in question (you can see these by clicking on “Exchange mode” in the toolbar above any of your menus); it doesn’t have to be a perfect match. |
![]() | Do you have to eat all that is on your daily menu? |
![]() | OH boy …. I need help. My brain is fogged. I feel silly asking this but I have my weekly meal plan set. Ok so how long am I following this and I see all these other recipes. When am I indulging in those?? Sorry I’m confused. |
![]() | Hi, Mike, and welcome 🙂 Whole grain and wholemeal are the same thing – no worries there. Granary and seeded breads can be great, too, but be sure to read the label to be sure there aren’t any white or refined flours in there. That Biona bread is excellent. |
![]() | Hi, I joined a week ago and trying to sort out what i need for my shopping list however my local supermarkets don’t do Wholegrain bread. All i can find is Wholemeal, Granary or Seeded bread. What would be the best substitute for this? Would this be any good.. Biona Organic Rye Bread Chia And Flax? And the other issue I have is finding Wholemeal Teacakes or Muffins. Many Thanks Mike |
![]() | Hi, Ossie11. Absolutely! |
