Hi – I am on day one and am super excited – so much food. BUT – I have pasta coming up – and calls for 1/2 a cup of cheese tortellini. How do I measure this? Normally I would weight 4 ounces out. Correct? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Alicia. Up to one hour before you retire for the night is fine for your last snack.

Hello, I’m new and I have a question about the last snack of the day. I usually stay up late, past midnight, and I know you are not supposed to eat so late at night, so what would be the best time to have my last snack?

Hi, Melanie. You can substitute any starchy carb exchange for a serving of fruit.

I like to eat more fruits this time of year. Can add more fruit to my menu?

Hi, asimpson330, and welcome 🙂 It looks like you would benefit most by using the fully personal version of the Menu Planner (the right-most option here – https://www.trimdownclub.com/menu-planner). There you can select the specific foods that work for you, and avoid the troublesome items entirely.

Hi, redwinggirl. If you use the personal version of the Menu Planner application (the right-most option here: https://www.trimdownclub.com/menu-planner), you will see some of our recipes in the “Recipes” subcategory of each major food group. For newer recipes that have not yet been added into the system, you can match up the exchanges visible at the end of each recipe to those allotted to you. Your exchanges are visible when you click on “Exchange Mode” in the toolbar above your menu. Peanut butter is definitely allowed (preferably the type with no added sugar or hardened fats) – it is referred to as “Nut Butter” in the Menu Planner food lists.

I’m also a newly joined person with lots of food problems so found it hard to get a decent menu that didn’t just consist of yoghurt. Don’t eat fish or meat. Have problems with cheese, eggs and other such. Don’t eat fruit. Love nuts but I know they don’t always like me. Can’t eat bread. Love pasta but cannot have pesto or garlic or mushrooms or onions. I’m on medication for stomach problems but really need to get some help to make up recipes I can eat.

I’m a newbie and have a couple questions. I went on Pinterest and found some Trimclub recipes and wanted to know how to add them into my menu? Also is peanut butter a food we can eat, if so, where can I put that into my menu?

Hi, dmelody. Do you eat legumes? These are in the carb category.

Hello. I’m trying to fill out the menu part and it requires more carbs. I have a crazy diet. I’m a vegetarian who eats some fish, not very much. I am also completely grain free do to allergies. How can I complete the menu planning to get some recipe ideas? I hope TDC will be able to help me?

Hi, gumbogaga. I just need to know his age, height, weight, and general physical activity level, and I will get back to you with that information.

Hi, Tobybeth. That varies widely for people, depending on past dieting experiences. The average is about three weeks.

Hi, I just joined and I am working on my menu and grocery list. How can I change the amount so that I can make sure theres enough to feed my husband, too?

Ossie-Sharon 8 years ago

Hi, cmroy. If you change your weight in the system to 165 lbs, you will start getting a little less food.
