![]() | I am new here. My concern is my job I work 3 weeks straight with only 2 days off a month and no set hours. I state at 7am and could work until 4pm or 4am. I work in the oil field out of a truck very limited on heating a lunch ie sun power. Any ideas on easy meal prep ahead of time we are always busy with something or any kind of an option for a cold lunch I usually take a salad as it can sit in the cooler with my water. |
![]() | Hi, crackerjac18, and welcome 🙂 You can definitely exchange olive for coconut oil in the recipes. |
![]() | Hi I am new to this site. I wonder could anyone tell me can I substitute coconut oil for olive oil in the recipes. I am looking forward to all the wonderful recipes on here. I am vegetarian but eat a small amount of dairy and rather like the vegan recipes to. |
![]() | Hello! I just wanted to say hello and that I am looking forward to making new friends and getting back in shape. I’m in the middle of writing a paper right now, so I don’t have time to chat, but I look forward to reading your posts! God Bless! |
![]() | Thank you for the info. I try to eat foods with the nutrients rather than resort to a “pill”. I’m 71 and I take a vitamin, calcium, and probiotic daily. Right eating surely is the thing to do.! |
![]() | Hi, Mortswife, and welcome! A good diet can help with water retention and with hormonal issues in general, including those that worsen water retention. |
![]() | Hi, I just joined, but haven’t been to the store to buy yet. I’ve had trouble for years with water retention monthly. Can my new diet aid that or is it all hormones? |
![]() | That’s fantastic, N0008993! We wish you continued success here, and are happy to help in whatever way we can.:) |
![]() | Hi, This is my third week and I am excited about this plan. It took a few days to understand how to swap foods in my menu so I am able to have a veriaty of food that corresponds with my meal plan. That has made me so happy. I also like the fact I’m eating healthy and that made my doctor happy. Plus, loosing weight has made this plan a win, win situation!, |

![]() | Hi,just wanted to let you all know I’ve finally broke through a weight target. Been dieting for years now and always got stuck at 84 kilo….wasn’t sure why but at that weight always got me and then I’d slowly but surely gain weight again. So I tried looking at it differently and thought what was mentally blocking me. Personally it was the weight I arrived at on my second Ivf treatment. Over the years after the birth of my wee angel I was given many excuses by myself and friends to why I couldn’t get under that weight again….lots of thoughts, meditation and acceptance, plus some health exercising and this diet of course 😉 I am not 82 kilos, its still over my natural weight I know but now I’ve accepted my mental blockage I feel like I’m moving on down more and more prepared to pass my next milestone (which is 76 kilos the weight I arrived at after stopping smoking- hopefully aerivebther before next spring). |
![]() | Hi, Shabur. It’s great to read of your progress, and I wish you the best in continuing here. Your nighttime issue is very common, and I’m happy to help in whatever way I can. |
![]() | Hi. I’m on week 3 of this diet and I’ve lost a little weight, but I have a long way to go. I’ve never been a breakfast eater, but I’ve been making myself eat in the morning. I eat my lunch in the later afternoon so that my dinner and evening snack are later, but it hasn’t curtailed my nighttime hunger and that I haven’t been able to control. This has been a bad habit I picked up many years ago as a way of coping with some mental health issues that I am still dealing with. |
![]() | Hi, kwilke. I recommend getting a measuring cup, as this can help tremendously with portion-sizing and control. Weights sometimes match up, but not always. |
