![]() | Hi – I need some advice…..is the food in the link below (beef shabu-shabu) a healthy meal choice? http://www.karaku.com/english/meals/index02.htm I have a client dinner tonight and we are eating this kind of food; I was wondering if the thinly sliced beef (with fat dispersed through the meat) is really bad for me…? The meat is dipped in a light broth of boiling water and seafood, and then dipped into delicious and flavorsome soy-based sauces, and accompanied with lots of veges, rice and tofu. Delicious, but is it good for me…? |

![]() | Hello all. Thanks to you for the encouragement and wishes on our anniversary. Had a lovely time today. Sitting here eating my dinner and typing this. Having chicken soup for the gods and salad. My husband likes it and just said very good. We took our snack with us to the movies and the popcorn didn’t tempt me at all. About all the cooking….after I got home from the grocery last evening I started cooking some of my meals for the week. Divided them up and put them in individual serving containers. I made the lemon cottage cheese muffins, banana brown butter bread, vegetable quiche. Baking my sweet potatoes tonight and will put them into serving size containers. My husband portioned out the grapes and I did the same with our nuts. So when we get hungry or it’s time for a meal I will already have it done. Harborview, We drink water with our meals so if you drink a 16 oz glass then you will have 6 down and then only have 4 to go. I take a water with me in the car. Hope that helps. |
![]() | Every one. My eight year old son wants to say hello to you all. He is great encouragement. |
![]() | Hey. Harborview. I think if I am really still and quiet. I can hear the ocean waves calling…. Oh wait. That’s just my stomach. LOL…..! |
![]() | Thank you MeguroNick. I’m flattered. Hey. I have an idea for your dilemma on the bread. How would you feel about making your own bread. There are loads of great recipes on the internet, and you can probably have the flour specially delivered for you. But before you do that, Have you looked on google the see where you can find these type of foods near your location? That’s how I found most of mine. |
![]() | Hahah… Hey That not a bad idea. I have always wanted to go to Australia. But really. Once you start the cooking and prepping, It is a good idea to get some storage cups because there is now way we can eat all that food. What I have started doing is, once every one has eaten, I portion the food out into zipp lock bags for now and freeze them for another time I need to use them. Les work for prepping in the future, and great to have ready to take to work for those who live a busy life. Just place it on a plate or bowl and microwave. |
