An Aga is a cast iron stove originally fired by coal or wood but these days can be gas, oil or electric. They are constantly on and provide warmth and hot water. Many also provide central heating. There are other similar appliances like Rayburn.

It is good to find there are other photographers here. Most of mine are of The Isle of Skye, I don’t get away much, and at present I hardly leave our home since I have this Sciatica. I put photos up on blipfoto.com

Oh wow Dawn!!! I got on there and clicked on the one that caught my eye first, and it was the Rusty Wreck…and there you were!!! Amazing….so that is what you do….yes, I love photography, and am always pulling out a camera to record something that catches my attention. Usually the grandkids…they make wonderful muses…but I love the ocean, ships, boats, clouds, landscapes, birds…they also make wonderful muses…our backyard is full of them. So, Dawn, I am not a photographer as such, but I am someone who loves photos and clicks away when I see something I want to record. I am more into digital scrapbooking and making calanders from my layouts and I have done a couple of books…one for our eldest daughter of her life, and one for my youngest brother who is dying, which was a geneology based one. I love to journal, as you can tell by my comments…I waffle away…heheh…but I love your photos, and am very impressed. It is a great way to get to know eachother by sharing our interests. So you must have found me on FB Dawn? Thankyou for sharing and bringing my attention to your work. Bev.

seeborn…..I am also keeping it simple…and will add a recipe or two slowly.
As my daughter says…lifes too short to stuff a mushroom.
I have an aga and that helps as i use it as a slow cooker,.
it is brilliant with spelt/barley recipes. 😀

Carreenia, Im not sure that counting a cup of tea as part of the daily water intake counts? I think they mean just plain ole cold water my love? Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will answer this for us?

Well every one. It is now 9:30PM here, so I’m off to bed. Good night everyone, and keep up the good work. Happy Healthy Eating all. 🙂

Plain Stevia is better than Truvia because Truvia contains a refined version of Stevia.

The health value of shabu-shabu depends on the quality of the ingredients – particularly if the meat is lean and was not raised with hormones and too many antibiotics – and not going overboard with high-sodium ingredients such as soy sauce and miso. If done well, it is an excellent choice.

Annaleeramos….I am still not convinced…you might have to bring that nine year old encourager with you to Australia…hahah….I was just watching Jack Thompson and Aussie actor checking out his ancestry on Who Do You Think You are, and it took his Irish ancestor over 170 days to get to Aussie on a convict ship…you can do it in two days surely!!! No wait, maybe I should just come to you and you can teach me! Lol….I have been storing the leftovers to use with other meals…just not cooking recipes…keeping it simple so I can stay out of the kitchen in the heat for now. Once I get into the diet, I will add some recipes, and have a cookup too!
