COOL change here thank goodness! Lovely isn’t it kelz1973!

jackiee, good girl! It is OK to eat something you shouldn’t. Hang in there. Just think that with all this healthy eating things may improve in the future and you won’t have to struggle as much.

The dragon boat is 14 metres long and can seat 20 people. Ours is an old wooden one from 1985 and yes we do PADDLE. Much harder if people are overweight so I am helping my team as well as myself.

Dawnrosie you are doing well. It is always hard when you cannot buy the food you need but even by replacing a couple of things that you have done will help. Being aware of what you are supposed to eat you can change slowly.

Welcome MrsNeighbors,

You have made a great start emotionally as well by the sound of it, I wish you the very best in your quest be eat better and eventually have a fit and healthy body and mind. Welcome from one artist to another all be it that i am a photographer and not a paint and brushes artist, do you have a link to some of your work? xxx

Hello everyone,I’m finally getting a chance to lose weight.my husband doesn’t like it, but he made a resolution to not stand in my way anymore.this is the first program that I’ve tried due to the fact that they tell you the right way to eat,an what to avoid.unlike others ,which want you to eat what they have already made. this is my first week, an I have been walking on the beach an going to the gym faithfully an enjoying the meals an snacks.I’m hoping to see a change by next month:)when I start something I think clearly an don’t stop til I’ve accomplished my goal.like painting my pictures.

Awayagain4, thats excellent news, well done to you.

So glad you got your weight monitor sorted Chia.

I started good today until PMS got to much control and I ended up an emotional wreck – those raw emotions always catch me off guard. It’s such a rollercoaster ride but when I hit the final low, I think so negative, think of the past, today I also felt really sad which since I don’t drink or smoke anymore always leads to binge eating! bad thing I know, but the good thing is I managed to stop myself afer one piece of cake and 4 biscuits. This may not sound too good to many but I know I could have easily ate the whole cake and finished the 600g of biscuits when I fell like this. Thankfully the bubble has final burst, I’ve had a good cry and fingers crossed I’ll be back to normal tomorrow (if that every possible).

MY PROGRESS METER IS WORKING NOW AND IS SHOWING MY BEGINNING WEIGHT! YEH 🙂

Got weighed this morning and 1.5 lbs off. I;m pleased with this as I only have a few pounds to go to reach my goal. The last few pounds always seem to take forever. This time when I reach goal I’m determined not to put the weight back on again. That’s why I think the support from you guys is so great. I couldn’t do it on my own.

I’ve been shopping and found most of the foodstuff I needed locally.
I unticked a lot of the boxes in my menu planner and now have a menu I can live with. Here’s to the next week – ‘slowly, slowly, catchee monkey’ as they say. A step at a time. Good luck to all my friends on the cruise ship. Together we’ll get there.

just a quick question would it be ok to swap chickpeas for haricot beans sometimes. I’m getting a bit tired of green beans and haricot beans give me a bit of bother? when looking at the change options I only get parsnips, which I would love but they don’t sell parsnip here.

Oh thanks Jackiee…yes it seems to be a trait in my family…making people laugh! But I do have a serious side, and am very passionate about some things, as my family know!!! Have a good day in Italy love….

Hi Dawn…good to read how things are going with you. Yes, you won’t have time to focus on the plan with all that going on….big job! You need to take a break and do what you love doing! I took some photos down at the river here this morning…not happy, cause all the trees have grown so much you can hardly seen the boats out on the river…spoilt it a bit really!
Anyway, all the best with the job you are doing, and finding some nice furniture for the new flat! That’s always fun! Cheers.

Hi all…was a good day today….got my walk in, got our car back, was at the doctor and had my blood pressure checked and it was just right…it has been for pretty high for a couple of years…yay!!! I am sure it is what I am eating!!! Can’t be much else. Next is a blood test, to check my irons and cholesterol…they are both normally good.

Morning Jackiee love…Seaborn is my maiden name, and I think I wanted Seaborngirl, but it was taken if I remember right! Might try that one again. No girls in my family, only 4 big brothers! But it is funny how a surname can suit that family….we all loved the sea, and fishing, boating, etc. Don’t know about the ship’s captain and keeping you all afloat love….haha! I would probably sink you all! Mind you, with all this blubber, I would probably then be able to keep you all afloat!!! Hawhawhaw…sorry, laughing at my cartoon that conjured up in my mind!!
Kelz1973, good to know where you are. You and r2b2 are not too far from eachother then….r2b2, those Dragon Boat championships sound like a challenge…good on you mate…sounds like it is a lot of fun, and definately for a good cause. I have a young Kiwi friend living in Russia and he and his wife also compete in them, and do well apparently! He might be there too! Amazing.Apart from all that, I do hope you stay in remission.
It is hard to imagine all our saining mates not wanting to go outside because it is so cold…and here we are having fires all over the place from the heat…we loved driving down the Newell Highway to our daughter in Albury…it will be very different next trip we do, esp around Coonabarabran…lovely area.
Ginnerlou…I tried to find you on FB, but can’t…maybe your settings are set so it is hard for someone to find you. Anyway, you can find me if you want…just look for Bev Miskin.
Anyway, I need to go…got to spend some time with my man…he is exhausted from all the stress going on in his job…been lots of changes!
Goodnight everyone…look forward to reading all the comments in the morning…they keep me motivated to continue sailing with you all!
