![]() | thats about all im eating tho 🙁 |
![]() | I agree dawnrosie, I envy you thinking its OK to eat toast. I haven’t eaten toast for weeks now. |
![]() | agree Harbourview cup measurements are just so confusing, not that im using any yet, difficult to measure toast in a cup lol |
![]() | Firstly, the ‘Trim Down Club’ originated in America so it is their measurement we should abide by. Secondly, we are doing this system because we all want to looose weight. So, in my opinion, we should abide by the smaller measurement first. However it would be most helpful if the club dispenced with measurements that are not clear and start dealing only in pounds and ounces. |
![]() | maybe they use bigger cups elsewhere Jackiee? Would explain a lot of the worlds weight problems lol |
![]() | Cntwall, interesting question and hope maybe one of the trim down clud nutritionist can help here (Ossie Maybe?). I agree with Dawnrosie, I always thought a cup measurement was 4oz \ 112grams, but I’m originally from the UK (old school measurements) and Dawnrosie is also from the UK (glad your taking the slowly approach by the way 🙂 ). However I also know the US cup measurement is 8oz too (Chia, sure your from the US 🙂 . Big difference there, so maybe Trim Down Club could clarify what a cup measement on this program is based on. I wonder if Seaborn, R2b2, or Kelz have a different take on a cup measement in Australia? However, when my menu planner says a cup of something, I measure a uk t-cup, because (as I throw a big spanner in the works) wouldn’t it depends what your weighing, for example a cup of freshly chopped parsley would weigh a lot less than a cup of cooked pasta or rice. Fingers crossed someone at the trim down club reads these posts and can clarify a little on measurements. Hope you all have a great day everyone, or afternoon, or evening depending where you all are ;-D |
![]() | Goodmorning all, Thanks you Chai and r2b2, today is starting better. I do know healthy eating will help balance me a bit but I do have as the dr said extreme PMS, never 2 months the same, no matter what supplements I’ve tried. Anyhow avoided a big binge so that was one thing at least. Glad it’s cooler for you r2b2 and that it stays that way for a bit. Welcome aboard Mrs Neighbors and Njo22, good luck on your personnel challenges. Have fun on the plan and getting to know this site. |
![]() | JACKIEE — I hope your tomorrow is a blessed one 🙂 |
![]() | A CUP MEASUREMENT IS 8 OUNCES. |
![]() | I think that would be about 2oz a cup being about 4oz I believe? |
![]() | Question for anyone, what do they mean by a slice of stuffing? 1/2 cup? |
![]() | I am a new member trying to develop reasonable menus & work around strange combos within a meal. That aside, I have made the spinach soup without the mint & cloves & it was good. However, where does “soup” fit into the plan i.e. as a substitute for a vegetable or as a “freebie?” |
![]() | Thank you! yup it definately takes a bit of time but I amm positive it will be worth it 🙂 |
![]() | hi Njob22, |
