![]() | 1 slice stuffing is generally about 1/2 cup. |
![]() | For the Trim Down Club menus, 1 cup = 1 ounces = 240 ml or grams. |
![]() | sweet dreams and god bless Seaborn 😡 |
| Hey Jackiee….sounds lovely in your little neck of the woods.Just how I imagined it love. Your little girl is very blessed to be growing up in that environment! My husband has his garden, and takes the grandkids up to help him occassionally, teaching them how to do things…it is lovely. The garden is a good place to get to know the kids too. |
![]() | sounds like you picked the best option staying home and staying safe Rebeccadors, good to hear your feeling great on this healthy eating plan 🙂 |
![]() | That’s my first week completed. I feel great, I don’t feel bloated, which is great! I now have my regime of 30 min gentle exercise every day, just completed today session on the treadmill due to the snow. No work as I couldn’t get out of the lane this morning, slid of the road onto the verge so I decided with a 30 mile journey, best option was to go home as it’s only getting worse. |
![]() | Hi All, Wow WELL DONE Cherylbeasley – great achievment ao pleassed for you. cntwall1973, your getting a very mixed option\reply to your question about measurements. Variety is the spice of life. LOL Dawnrosie, that made me laugh and agree maybe is why theres a ww weight prob 😉 Hope your ok Harbourview and not in to much pain with your sciatica – my mum swear it get worse in cold weather! I’m assuming your sleeping Chia and pray your are sleeping peacefully. Kelz, good luck with the shopping today, hope you don’t get to much of a shock, the healthy options, ie organic or swg, do tend to cost the bit extra. Sounds like you had a wonderful afternoon mango picking Seaborn, assuming you didn’t pick all 800 trees though!!! but great excercise. Hope you, hubby and family have a wonderful weekend. Thanks I have managed to chase the cloud for another month! I love when spring arrives here, getting up the country field to work the land, we have olive trees (which we pick late october, early November) and get our olive oil for the year but my favourite is May when the Cherry trees blossom, bucks of cherries, is such beautiful sight. My husband has made a couple of allotment up on our field (which is on the side of a big hill\small mountain) so spring brings lots of work planting all the veggies, checking the fruit trees ect. I don’t go up in winter much as its to muddy for my liking but we still get cabbages ect just now. I feel very blessed that my wee girl is going to grow up in this enviroment learning how to grow fruit and veg instead of think it all comes from a supermaket ;-D |
![]() | Thank goodness for the converter. He he. I use it to covert fluid ounces to millilitres Or us ounces to grams or milligrams This week has been a slow week as I am still getting used to things. Shopping day tomorrow and as its the first shop since i started should be interesting. |
| yes Kelz1973…probably the best to continue converting. The US has a different measuring system to us and UK. What I added was only fluid measurements….not sure about the rest. If I pull a cup from my cupboard that is the cup I use to measure all my dry ingredients for a recipe. If it says 2ozs or whatever, then I use the scales. |
![]() | For me i use measurements in the metric ad that is what I grew up on so i do find some of the measurements a little difficult. I always have to get my converter out. I understand its an American group and measurements will be the American way. So converting is the way i need to go. |
| Wow…I left you all alone for the day, and look what happens!!! The ship didn’t run aground Jackiee!!! I wanted to get on earlier to say I hope you get over those blues and cheer up love…sounds like you are up again…I hope so!!! Bill finishes early on Fridays, so we have spent the arvo out at my daughter’s property…picked plenty of yummy mangoes…they have over 300 trees…and took photos of the cows…their two and the neighbours large herd. Was lovely. Okay, I’m with Chia on the measurements. My measurements here in Aussie have always been imperial which are British Imperial…a cup in the Old (Imperial) is 8 fluid ounces(227mls) = New (Metric) 250mls.If you look up Imperial measurements on Wikipedia it has info about the “United States customary units”, click on the highlight, and in there is the answer….a US cup is 8 fluid ounces. |
![]() | well done Cherylbeasley!!! WTG!!!! |
