| | I’ll just wish you the best of luck, Dawn. I don’t do Facebook. |
| | hiya, Apensa, |
| | Hi, Dawn….new picture fooled me. Looks like things really looking up for you and I can imagine how hard you work. I got my first Miranda DR 1.9 back in 1965….you probably never even heard of the company let alone the camera…..focal plane shutter and 35mm film with a semi automatic stop down lens. Anyway, took a look at your gallery…………really nice work! Rough business to be in nowadays with digital and photo shop. Subject matter and composition is the name of the game nowadays. Sorry, folks, it has nothing to do with food but don’t get me started on photography. |
| | Hi Folks, I’ve been very busy after having moved. I’ve been promoting my photography and now have my work in 4 outlets in town. I’ve sold one photo so far, well everyone’s got to start somewhere! If you want to have a look at my work I’m easily found on google, Dawn OConnor. I’ll try and pop in again soon as things are settling down a bit now, my best wishes to you all xxx |
| | This is a great community with support znd great pals to encourage you. We share our successes and problems along the way. Good luck |
| | Tandy, Welcome and yes, you will get plenty of support here. Everyone, except maybe me, are really positive thinkers and will help you along with any questions you may have. You have taken an important first step recognizing that support helps and you are willing to give it a try. Don’t get discouraged by all the food choices, no no’s, and strange sounding ingredients. I don’t know how much you have read yet but it is a good idea to start there. From personal experience, don’t dive into the menus with the idea that it is their way or the highway. You will catch on pretty soon and for sure, Do as I say, not as I do…..LOL. |
| | Hello everyone, I am a newbie. I am 52 years old and my Physician told me to loose weight. I searched the web and found the TrimDownClub. In Nogales, their is no pier support groups for losing weight. I do believe I have made a very good choice of joining this community. |
| | Must admit, I never toasted it, Stage |
| | Hi, jcdkemp. It looks like your body is still recovering from the extended period of time on a very low-calorie diet. 1200-1300 calories is below an amount even for someone who does not work out. If you would be wiling to provide some additional details, I can run some calculations and give recommendations for adjustments: gender, age, height, weight, and a sample day from your menu. |
| | Jackiee, Well, I’m eating everything on my diet plan, which has a rating of 86%, and so far in one week of being on the program I’ve gain 1+ lb. The amount of food was my biggest concern. Way over the 1200-1300 calories I should be consuming, especially since I’m not able to work out right now. I’ll give it another week, but if I don’t see some weight loss, I’ll have to assume program isn’t right for me. |
| | Thanks for the input, Chia |
| | APENSA — SEE IF YOU CAN FIND THE SWG ENGLISH MUFFINS. They may be a little dry but not much and are full of crunchies — so good/filling and I could eat the whole box. I ate 3 one They should be in the refrigerated foods like the SWG breads. |
| | ANYONE WHO IS TRYING THE 2 RECIPES I POSTED — I’M GLAD YOU ARE TRYING THEM. I’LL BET YOU WILL LIKE BOTH OF THEM. LET ME KNOW – YES OR NO 🙂 |
| | Congratulations, Stage. You have done really well. My hat is off to you and others that stick to a good exercise regimine. I haven’t lifted weights since I last changed a roll of toilet paper….yes, some men do that. Regarding the double post, there seems to be a hesitation when you enter a response and thinking it didn’t go thourgh, you hit it again. I too have something to celebrate today. I finished my first….and last, I may add….loaf of Ezekiel SWG Bread. I don’t believe I’ve eaten a more dried out, bland tasting thing since my last C-Ration cracker……and those were pretty bad. LIke they say though, when you are hungry, you will eat anything. No, it wasn’t stale. It was like that from the first time I opened it. Not one to waste food, I stuck it out. I think I will stick to my Aspen Valley 21 whole grain bread. Does anyone else have similar feelings towards the Ezekiel SWG bread? Might be healthy, but, hey, at my age, you have to have some fun! |
| | Whoops, aspensa, I did the same thing in duplicating my message…but I’m going to blame it on my iPad! haha |
