I typically overeat when I travel and would like to start this during that time. Are there a list of foods that I can choose from rather than recipes to prepare? |

Note that reading labels does become significantly quicker and easier with practice. For an environment more likely to offer better products, try a health-oriented store like Whole Foods Market or Trader Joe’s. |

![]() | I just finished week 8 of this diet and I only have lost 6 pounds. I am frustrated and have followed this program pretty well. I realize the holidays played into the 8 week program so maybe that is the answer. I do not want to quit another eating programs because of lack of success. Help!!!!! |

Using your Monday breakfast as an example, if you were to use the regular menu planner, you would see that you are allotted 2 carb exchanges, 1 protein exchange, 1 fat exchange, and 1 fruit exchange. You could then convert these to 3 fat exchanges plus 1 each protein and low-carbohydrate fruit or vegetable exchange. A breakfast with these exchanges would be An egg cooked in 1-2 teaspoons of oil plus a cup of raspberries with 1 tablespoon of whipping cream, whipped with Stevia or erythritol. |
