I don’t seem to know how to respond to an invitation to be a friend with someone here. Can anyone help? Thanks

OSSIE: Why not use the choices: “Limited” meaning you can eat certain veggies in certain amounts. Use “FREE” if we can eat all veggies in any amount. So much easier to understand.

Hi, Desaleux. Have you entered the Menu Planner (in “Apps” above)? When you finish going through each meal and choosing your foods (be careful to choose the minimum number per food group), at the end of the Snacks tab (scroll down), you will see the “Finish” icon – click on that, and your daily/weekly menu will pop up.

Hi, where do I find my own menu that was created especially for me. I am finding it really hard to navigate around this website. can someone help me please.

Just started today and I’m confused as how I can just go in and view my menu. The only thing I can do is go to menu planner and click next all the way thru meals and then click finish, to see my menu…. There’s gotta be an easier way right??? Can somebody please help me?

Thanks for clearing that up, Ossie! I was hoping that was the answer.

Thanks Ossie, – the other items on my list for the breakfast meal are nuts and apricots. Can I swap them for one of the spreads or cheeses I selected when I made the menu, ifra so which ones? The list of alternatives only mentions other kinds of bread/wraps. Or do I need to make a spread out of the apricots? Like a marmelade?

Hi, Chia. Tech development is planning on changing the name of the link to read “Vegetables of Your Choice” – again, if the link appears on your menu, it is a signal to choose from the “limited” list, because free vegetables do not need such a signal (you can eat them whenever).

Hi, LoviseB. What are the other items on your menu for that meal? If there isn’t something that you can make into a spread (remember that the item list is just a list – you can prepare the items any way you wish), you can swap something for a spread using the circular arrow icon next to it.

OSSIE: I think that most of us learned that a “FREE VEGGIE” meant it is UNLIMITED, and that’s why its so confusing.

Ossie-Sharon 12 years ago

Hi, Lynn. “Free vegetables” is a bit of a misnomer for the link, and we will change it. It means all non-starchy vegetables, and you can choose as I indicated before. When “free vegetables” shows up, it actually means “limited vegetables” – free vegetables don’t need to show up on your menu, because you can eat them whenever and however much you want. Starch vegetables like potato are very specifically specified with the amount because they have a much more significant impact on blood sugar.

Hi Ossie, I think I am not explaining myself well! What I mean is that on BOTH menu categories, ‘weight loss’ and ‘maintenance’, all I ever get is ‘free vegetables’. On the ‘maintenance’ I get squash or sweet potato added, and of course larger amounts of the other food groups, but never any choices from ‘limited vegetables’. Is this just still because they are retooling the menus?

thanks BlessingCatcher. I live in Canada, but I’ll check out Costco. I purchased one from Walmart that was a Weight Watchers (Body Fat, BMI, Body Water, multi user) unit, but other than the weight (which seems accurate) I can’t seem to set the user component on it.

Hi, Lynn. Wherever, the link to the vegetable list appears in your menu, you can choose whatever you want from the list. The designation “free” just means you don’t need to be limited by the “cup” amount recommended for the “limited” vegetables.
