![]() | Hi my name is Carol and I have recently joined so still learning, I am finding it difficult to understand the mixtures of foods given for the different meals, eg, 2 slices of Spelt Bread, 2 ozs cold cut meats, 1 oz cheese with half cup lentils and one serving of veg,I can manage the first three easily but how do you fit in lentils and vegs in the same meal.? Is anyone else having the same problems or can you recommend anything I can do. I have tried change my options but it doesn’t seem to work. Any help would great. |
![]() | Hi I am new to this so was wondering about my menu plan, can I interchange some of the items, as I dont like to have so much for a snack, lunch and dinner seem to be of similar portion size, can i have less for lunch and add it to my dinner? |
![]() | Well I ended up using all 7 noodles layered like lasagna and it was so good! |
![]() | Hi, gtft57. Yes, all the lasagna noodles go into a single pasta layer. The “final layer of hard cheese” just means that the final layer of the entire recipe is cheese. |
![]() | some of the directions to the recipes don’t make sense. I just made the Cheesy Spinach – Brown Rice Bake and I hoping it comes out ok. It calls for 7 of the noodles but only calls for one layers. Then it says final hard cheese and I read it several times and didn’t even see where to put down the first. Maybe I have reading comprehension problems, but this recipe was a bit confusing. |
![]() | Hi, gtft57. The intention is indeed for you to eat all the items on the menu. I have forwarded your query about the foods to tech support. In the meantime, you can swap out whatever you wish using the circular arrow icon next to each item. |
![]() | why do ingredients that I didn’t choose keep showing up in my menus. Also, why would at breakfast oatmeal and granola with milk both show up. Who is ever going to eat both of those at one time. The menu planner has me really confused. Are you just supposed to a few items from each meal/snack? I can’t imagine eating all the items that are suggested. Very, very new to this program and hope it’s not another scam! |
![]() | hello cynthiaf, hows it going now? did you get a menu you like yet? I worked on it and made about 12 menus before I finally found one that I love. I concentrated on items I like and tried to stay with tourqoise colors, and kept in mind ease of preparation. At first I thought I would love to cook all the recipes, but it turns out I like to eat quick meals & save my free time for exercise, and hobbies. Hope your well with this! hugs, tweety425 |
![]() | Hi, Cynthia. To see the weekly menus that you already created, just click on “Menu History” near the top of the page when you first enter the Menu Planner application. |
![]() | I’m new to TDC and having a hard time with the Meal Planner online. Is the only way into the daily menus clicking through the Apps tab, then Menu Planner, then click through “dietary needs” page, then click through “food selections” pages unlit you reach actual weekly meals page? Is there a direct route somewhere else to the daily menus page? When I finally get to daily meal planner I’m not seeing how I can choose food alternatives from the recipes in “Delights from Members” or any other new recipes from the “Recipes” section. Please help. I so agree with the request for a phone app for this program. Thank you. |
