Soy has received much attention over the years in terms of what it can do to help women. The components found within soy that are believed to provide so much help to women for breast cancer prevention may benefit not only women. The truth is that they may provide just as much help for men.

So while many women have increased their soy consumption for their own health issues, they should be passing the soy to their men as well. Though the benefits offered to men and women are different, the root of the help is the same. If you are a man worried about prostate cancer or baldness, then soy may be your best weapon in the fight.

The Secret Ingredient That Works Towards Prevention

The very same isoflavones that help women in their health issues are at the root of what helps men in combating two of their greatest health threats. When you consume soy products, you are getting a healthy dose of naturally occurring isoflavones.

Why does this matter?

Because it is within this substance that you find a unique molecule called equol. This can help to prevent the function of DHT (dihydrotestosterone), ahormone that contributes to prostate disorders, including cancer, and even male baldness.

So while this hormone may be working towards these conditions in men, isoflavones can do their part to boost prevention .

Benefiting Males in the Very Best Ways

Male pattern baldness may seem like a more aesthetic type of condition to worry about, much like preventing that all-too-familiar gut and building muscle, but it can really have an impact on a man’s self esteem. However, while  focused on these issues, they should also be focused on health risks.

Prostate cancer is a very serious condition, and it is becoming all too familiar. If you knew that simply consuming a natural substance would lessen your chances of ever developing something this potentially deadly, then wouldn’t you try it? It can really get to the root of the issue and help stop it in its tracks. This is of particular interest if you have a family history of cancer, or even if you are just interested in basic prevention.

Make the Simple Choice Today

As men read this, they will undoubtedly rush to their local health store to stock up on pills that contain isoflavanes or equol. Sure the logic makes sense, but the truth is that the necessary consumption can be obtained by choosing more palatable products that can help  health in other ways.

Substituting meat or cheese once in a while with a high-protein fermented soy product such as tempeh or fermented tofu can make a world of difference . It’s simply a matter of finding a preparation method you like, and that happens faster than you might think. Plus, compared to meats these treats provide fewer saturated fats and more unsaturated fats. This switch has been shown to benefit men in other areas of preventive health, such as against heart disease – which shares key risk factors with baldness in men. Fermented soy will provide you with so much in terms of prevention, and it’s easy enough to add into your diet. 1. Hi, to all. The soy to which we refer in the video is GMO, overly processed, or both. Simple organic soy products (such as tofu, milk, and yogurt), especially when sprouted or fermented (such as tempeh and natto) can be very good for many people in moderate amounts.

  2. Probably has to do with the GMO. What I have been reading, 1 company now owns all the soy beans and the rights to grow them and they are GM’d. That company has basically run all the other farmers that have tried to produce soy beans out of business through the court system. This company now owns the rights to Soy Beans around the world. Talking about cornering the market. 🙁

  3. In the commercial for this Trim down club that convinced me to sign up said that Soy wasn’t what it is all cracked up to be. Did I misunderstand or what…I’m confused. I’m new to the club, so far I am learning a lot!!! I will pass this information on to my family! Thanks
