Hi, dditges, and congratulations.
Actually, we recommend trading in diet sodas for water, so you’re on the right track.

I have been dieting for 4 days and have lost 5 lbs. I usually drink a lot of diet soda but have cut back a lot. Is this OK? or will it hinder my losses? I drink my 64 oz of water and enjoy a diet soda once at day.

Hi, Natalina, and welcome. A basic overview called the Program Guide is available in My Downloads. Regarding recommended foods, see the lighter blue items in the food lists in the Menu Planner app. If you are still having difficulty accessing the apps, please contact tech support through the “Contact Us” link below.

I have read other posts and some suggest 8oz is a cup, I can see how this would be for example the chicken and apricot stew but am confused when it says 1 cup of organic popcorn ( that’s a lot in weight ) I am from the uk so am a little confused. As long as you understand the principles of the Trim Down Club, you can use the menus from the Menu Planner as a guide and easing your way into the program. Most important principles: avoid processed foods, switch to good oils, and cut back on fats, simple sugars, sodium (“salt”), and artifical sweeteners.
You have the option of not using any of our recipes, and only checking single foods in the Menu Planner – if you are interested in finding recipes from a specific food group, you can always look it up here. The “quick easy start-up plan” is a great idea, and we are working on it.

Hi, me again. I made the first post. Not sure why my profile’s not showing. Guess I have a lot to learn. But I did get to read through more material. I have a better idea of how it works, but definitely can’t start with the menu it gave me because there’s too many new recipes. Maybe by the next time I go to the store, I’ll be more prepared. I like your idea of repeating menus to start. I guess every time you eat a carb (allowed one) you have to have a protein with it? Even with Ezekial bread?

I just started a week ago and about 2 days into it I felt the same way. I made it through the first week, but wasn’t able to follow my menu as closely as I would have liked. I felt fantastic and lost more weight than I expected. I decided to pick some recipes that I could make ahead and then repeat them a couple times throughout the week. I don’t know how else to do it with a full time job, but would love to hear how others have dealt with this issue.
