Hi, little_j1998. The Menu Planner application absolutely will ensure all your nutritional needs will be met. No worries! 🙂

Hi, Marshhills. Absolutely – but do try to avoid cutting out fruits, vegetables, and dairy.

Hi, gtaul. “SWG” stands for “sprouted whole grain”. You can read more about it here – https://www.trimdownclub.com/what-is-swg-bread/. You can find these products online and at the Whole Foods Market in Wichita.

I am new but so far am very impressed with the whole site. I would like to know though if and when I can have tomatoes and is there a fruit juice that is recommended. Also is canola oil okay to cook with?

Hi I am having trouble eating all the foods provided in each meal it is just so much. I personally don’t eat much. How can I cut down the serving sizes and still meet the nutritional needs to loose weight???I like to eat the same foods most days as I am picky with the types of food I like will that not work on a food plan like this??

I am having trouble working out whether the choices I am choosing for my meals fit the full nutritional needs?

I’m new and can’t get started! The create menu planner isn’t working! There is no walk through option but I did watch the tutorial video. It’s really demotivating to follow all the instructions and then find you can’t get started…

As a brand new member, looking at the menu planner, what is the term SWG mean??

Hi, Dawns59. The greatest expense will be at the beginning as you upgrade your staples, and then you will just be gradually replacing items as you use them up. If you want less variety, you can either select that option in your profile, repeat meals and even whole days or weeks, or both.

Hi, rahemery52. Do you mean pastured chicken? If so, it is highly recommended, especially if organic.

I signed up last week but have been on a business trip so I am getting ready to start this plan Monday. I went shopping yesterday for all the ingredients I didn’t have at home. I had a menu of the least variety to keep the shopping list down. I did not have to buy meat (I have a freezer full) but I still managed to spend $120! That is not something I will be able to maintain. Has anyone else come across this?

I am curious about pasturized chicken?

Hi, dmadd, and welcome! Don’t worry – that’s a normal feeling, and it will go away. Just ease into the program gradually and at your own pace. Small changes will add up, and keep in mind that the most time-consuming tasks will get easier and take less time.
You can definitely eat the same thing a couple times a week to make it easier – you can even repeat whole weeks, swap foods in the same group between meals, etc. Whatever is comfortable.
