While going diet can mean a major cut in calories if you are used to drinking many regular sodas throughout the day, the problem is this: the artificial sweeteners in Diet Coke “confuse” your metabolism, and can actually lead to weight gain. It sounds counter-intuitive, but it has been shown in research studies. |
