Hi, Debbie. Good electrolyte drinks are generally lower in sugar than juice – they should be about 4-8% sugar. Having said that, unsweetened coconut water is your best bet – just be sure the sodium content is less than 140 mg per cup.

Ossie, I know it is possible to drink too much water, but I’m thirsty all the time since they started me on Lasicks. Seems like the things to drink with electrolytes have sugar.. Any suggestions???
