Hi, LisaCC. Each of the meals is essentially based on a “square” (or triangular) meal that includes a starchy carbohydrate, protein, and fruit or vegetable – some of the proteins or vegetables should be good sources of calcium. Other than that, there are just a couple of measures that may help you meet your goal if you wish to cut back to more comfortable amounts:
1. Try to always eat a protein with a carbohydrate
2. Eat the most in the earlier part of the day
3. Try to get a total of at least 5 servings of fruits+vegetables each day (with some variety, to get several colors)
4. Try to get at least 3 servings of calcium-rich foods each day
5. If you can, try to add plenty of herbs and spices
Other than diet, we encourage some physical activity during the day. It doesn’t need to be strenuous, but movement and muscle toning are very important.
If you have any additional questions, please do repost.

As I look at the menus, it looks like too much food. I don’t normally eat that much. I’m just interested in knowing which foods go well together so I can get rid of and maintain my middle age belly fat. I am not over weight, just feeling bloated which tells me I’m not eating the right combos. That much food makes me think I will explode!
