![]() | Hi, Eileen. Thanks for the background! Yes, beer is fine. I would suggest you use the Menu Planner application to select the foods you want, including beer (it is in the “Fats” section under “Beverages”), and a menu will be generated based on your selections and nutritional needs. |
![]() | Hi Ossie, Thanks for answering. I can work with your suggestion. For some body background..I was a ballerina. Quit at 36- maintained a 100 lb or less figure, then worked the night-shift as a stocker (40hr week)for 15 years. (115-150lbs)Settling at 120 as a running weight. Retired over a year ago. I recently started a physiotherapy routine (back issues) and stationary bike work: 10min.a day. I’m not well self motivated. That’s why I decided I needed your help with a set menu plan. Yes, one meal a day is dramatic. I enjoy the healthy diet you offer…I’m just not used to the volume. I also love a beer in the evening…is there room for this? Thanks, Eileen |
![]() | Hi, Eileen, and welcome. It may take your body a while to get used to eating normal amounts of food, and certainly a change from one meal a day to this is rather dramatic. If it makes things easier, you can make the change gradually, but just eating the 3 meals per day, taking care to get at least 5 total fruits+vegetable servings and 3 calcium-rich foods per day. |
![]() | I’ve never eaten this much in my life! I keep hovering at 140 & no relief in sight. I’ve gone from one good meal a day to too much food. I don’t know if I can do this. It’s been 2 weeks…. |
