Thank you.

Hi, Fishing. Green tea is wonderful. Concerns generally have to do with the caffeine content, which relates not only to the stimulant effect, but also to the diuretic effect, which can be drying and deplete some vitamins and minerals from he body, as well as to the acid content, which can cause problems for sensitive stomachs.
The general consensus appears to be that 3 cups of green tea per day is the maximum. If you like to drink more tea than that, try other types, such as herbal (i.e. hibiscus, mint, etc) or even roobios (“red” tea), which are caffeine-free.
By the way, the way you drink your tea is excellent the lemon magnifies the beneficial properties.

Hi Ossie,
What tea is best? I have heard positive and negative comments about green tea which is what I brew. But as always I would like to know what is “the best tea” to drink and how much is too much in a day? I use lemon and nectresse in my tea.

Bobby
