I too have been watching Dr. Oz lately and recently he spoke of saffron extract. When I went to the natural foods store I was introduced and given info on SafSlim. Do you know anything about this product? Is this something that goes against the TDC principles? Oh, and what about Green Coffee Bean Extract?

Hi, AnnMarie1963. Lipo Slim may contain caffeine, and so could contribute to the symptoms you are experiencing – regardless of what it contains, however, if you feel worse with it, I would suggest that you consider stopping it. The Stress Relax Serenity forumula looks much better.

Good to know as I’m curious about the following combo I have just purchased. I’m currently going through menopause so I’m taking Femal by Flora & Stress-Relax Serenity formula. To help with my weight loss I found Lipo Slim extreme taken with Natural Cleanse. Since one of my newest & really not pleasant symptom is anxiety/panic attacks should I stay away from the weight loss supplements?

Sharon, thank you for the insight. I don’t know why Dr.Oz never mentioned this possible side effect. Perhaps the product was too new, at that time, to realize longer term effects for some people.

Hi, rico. Garcinia has indeed been linked in some cases to elevated blood sugar. It apparently is not the choice for you, according to your body’s reaction.

Recently I had my bloodwork done. To my surprise my sugar level (after fasting) was 200. I admit I eat my share of sweets(ouch) but the only thing I ingest with consistancy is Glucosamine Chondroiton and most recently Garcinia Cambogia, extract from a Melon. According to Dr Oz it is the Holy Grail of weight loss. My question is do these raise sugar levels in the blood?
